About Carla

For more than two decades—after shifting from playwriting to commentary on 9/11—prolific writer and public thinker Carla Seaquist has worked at the intersection of politics, culture, and the American character, and addressed top issues through hundreds of essays, first for The Christian Science Monitor, then HuffPost and Medium. Carla earned a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary American and European art and music at the American University, School of International Service, and her Master of Arts from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, Paul H.
